522/Fictions, a site-specific piece at 522 Gallery a historic home gallery on Duwamish land from the late 1800s under artist/curator Tim Cross. Images of former settlers, renters, owners, and inhabitants were projected onto the living room wall after researching the property's history at the Seattle Library Property Archives. Graphite was used to draw the contours and eyes and also used for decorative frames resembling hanging portraits. In the back room, an overhead projector displayed the printed faces, inviting viewers to layer and create new fictitious home dwellers.
